Veterinarians and rehabilitation professionals in the Bay Area will have an opportunity to advance their musculoskeletal treatment skills this winter. A Well Adjusted Pet in Pacifica, California will host a hands-on shockwave training lab on Sunday, February 22, 2026. The event runs from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and offers four hours of RACE approved continuing education.
The lab focuses on practical, real-world application of focused piezoelectric shockwave therapy using the PiezoWave2T Vet system. Attendees will work directly with canine and feline patients while learning how to safely administer treatments, select proper therapy sources and gel pads, and tailor protocols for common clinical conditions such as arthritis, cruciate issues, and spinal pain.
In addition to guided training on forelimb and hindlimb treatment positions, the course includes a special session on palpation and fascial mapping. This module teaches participants how to locate restrictions, tension patterns, and trigger points that can guide more precise shockwave application. The goal is to give clinicians a deeper understanding of how fascia contributes to pain and mobility issues, and how to use this information to improve treatment outcomes.
The small group format allows for close instruction and individualized coaching throughout the morning. The session
concludes with a Q and A period followed by an optional lunch and discussion about integrating PiezoWave2T Vet into everyday clinical workflow.
